West Seattle

Visitors are sometimes confused as to why there are two “Seattles,” but area residents understand the rationale – there’s just too much greatness to be combined in one area. West Seattle spans the northernmost point near Alki Beach to Delridge, with about five other neighborhoods in between. Stroll along the West Seattle Junction and run into members of Pearl Jam at Easy Street Records. Spend the morning walking around Admiral and head south near the Fauntleroy Ferry to see if you can spot orcas or harbor seals playing in Puget Sound. Wander through the many parks, and leave feeling like you were transported to a forest far from the city. As Seattle’s largest neighborhood, West Seattle has everything you need.
